Canine Cancer Update:

The Morris Animal Foundation in Denver is working to raise $30 million for research to help find a cure for canine cancer. This is the first cancer vaccine for animals or humans ever approved for use in the US.

Summer Travel Tips:

When taking a trip this summer with your dog, don't forget to bring along the following items:

1. Your Vets phone number-It is also a good idea to get the name and number of a local Vet or Animal Clinic for the place your are traveling to.

2. Updated Vaccination record for your dog

3. Crate or pet carrier

4. Food, water and treats

5. Poop bags

6. Extra towels

8. Extra collar and leash

9. Your dogs favorite toy or blanket

10. Dog identification-they should be on your dog at all times.

11. If you plan to do any hiking, long walks etc. with your dog, make sure to bring along water for them.
